Lower distortion across entire record, slightly higher at inner grooves
Best for: Most turntables, general listening

Minimizes average distortion, balanced approach
Best for: Analytical listening, classical music
Stevenson
Lowest distortion at inner grooves where most wear occurs
Best for: Worn records, inner groove protection
